Go-tos

My favourite stores change all the time. Whilst at the beginning of the year I was shopping almost exclusively at Pretty Little Thing (their clothes are always on point in terms of being generally stylish), I drifted a bit to Missguided, and as of late have been dipping in and out of Topshop and River Island. Zara has always remained a background staple which I check out every now and again also. Not too long ago on a blogging-break, I decided to pop into River Island just to have a browse – this is the thing about living in central London – there are huge retailers everywhere, which makes it harder not to break the bank. This pink crop was one of those that I saw straight away and decide right then and there that I was going to make the purchase…

Shop The Look

Crop top: River Island (shop exact)
Black jeans: Topshop (shop exact)
Sandal heels: ASOS (shop similar)
Glasses: Givenchy (shop similar)
Choker: Topshop (shop exact)
Bag: Gucci mini marmont matelasse

I paired the top with these ripped jeans from Topshop (yet to find anywhere that makes jeans as good quality as them – but if you have any suggestions – let me know), the rhinestone choker also from Topshop (they drew me in at the till area… I couldn’t resist), and lastly my trusty ASOS heeled sandals. Although I’m always dressed in heels in my outfit photos – I definitely can’t pretend as though this is the case all the time (I wish). Regardless, you’ll see me rocking these in tons of photos as I feel as though they dress up any outfit; yet their ‘barely there’ look keeps everything looking very sleek and elegant.

For my bag, I went for my trusted Gucci marmont mini matelasse. I had caught myself staring at this bag for months upon months (this and the YSL blogger bag), so eventually, I decided to just treat myself and buy it. Bags can become an addiction – since I bought my Kate Spade back in January I constantly find myself eying up bags and reading reviews for the future and I definitely never imagined myself becoming a girl who even cared about bags. Taking this into account… I’ve already got my eye on a Saint Laurent tote for next year..
