2015 has really been something amazing. I’ve been going around these past few weeks telling myself 2015 was pretty crappy and stressful, and of course, there were many crappy and stressful times. But when I really sit back and reflect on it, it’s been a year of extreme growth, learning, and achievements. Naturally, everyone changes as time goes on, but I’ve never changed so much within the space of 365 days as I have this year. In terms of confidence, mindset, and the people in my life, its been a big year of change.
I started off this final academic year really quite sad and also quite unsettled/nervous about the year ahead. I guess for the most part I felt as though my life had been thrown ‘off balance’, and a few things were hitting me left right and center that for a while, I really allowed myself to spiral down into a state of spending 60% of the time feeling upset (I’ll touch on this a little more in my end-of-year breakdown post). It was around this time that I discovered the power of positivity, and a couple months down the line, I’ve reached a point where I am in one of the most relaxed and happiest places I’ve been in for a while. For this week’s #midweekmotivation, here are a few tips to get yourself off that spiral, and to get you to learn how to own your own happiness.
