As you can see from the background in the photos below – I’m homeeee. I came home this weekend for my mum’s birthday and we all went out for a cute lilll family meal. This post completely mirrors another I wrote around the same time last year here, I remember at the time feeling so weird coming back home for the first time and sleeping in my own bed again, but now after being back and forth between uni and home for a whole year, this feels very natural. So much has changed between the time I wrote that post last year and now, I feel like a completely different person. I’m sure I’ll be doing a similar post next year, so it’ll be interesting to see how different things are then.
As for the outfit, I picked this shirt up from Urban Outfitters on Friday using a £20 giftcard I got at the bloggers’ festival. Combining that giftcard with my student discount I paid a grand total offff – £5 for this top, can I get an amen. I was an originally going to pair it with a burgundy skirt, but switched to this pink one last minute, to step out of the box a little bit, and I’m very happy with my choice.
I also, as you can see from this picture, further ombred my hair about two weeks ago. I think hair dyeing is addictive – the more you do it the less tragic the results become. I’m thinking of going for an all over burgundy/plum colour in the future, so we shall see how that turns out.
Also, I’m learning how to work my new Fujifilm camera a bit better! Pretty happy with the quality of these pictures. Good camera = happy life.
you look so adorable! love the outfit
There are so many fab parts to this outfit, the color, lace and LOVE that necklace (I am wearing a version of it today!) Thanks again for popping by my blog xo
