It has been a whileee. I’m back at uni now for my second term, and they really haven’t shown us any mercy. Instead of easing us in, they’ve slapped thick lecture booklets in our face, given us pages and pages of readings to do and have already asked for graded problem sets. I’m feeling a bit more organised in terms of this term now, so should be able to go back to more frequent posts. Taking all of this into account, a manicure at the M&Co press day this week (before I headed back to the library), was a pretty perfect way to de-stress.
I received an invite to the M&Co press day last week, and was pretty excited to hear that the during the day we had the choice to pick from free a free manicure, pedicure or massage. The press day was held at Cucumba, just off Oxford Street. What you probably don’t know about M&Co is that it’s actually one of the largest, privately owned fashion retailers in the UK. Their website and outfits on offer scream high quality, and their prices are also very affordable.
For their summer line, the main thing that stood out to me was their use of patterns. I especially loved the checked pattern you can see in the first dress, in the first photo. Secondly, another thing I noticed was their use of colour. I did not take enough photos to give this justice – but their outfits were absolutely full of rich colours, and inspired me to go with an equally bright colour for my nails.
I would definitely recommend you all check out the M&Co website to see what they have in store, and also keep your eyes peeled for some of these items to go live soon also!
I loved that punchy red oversized coat, it’s gorgeous! It was such a lovely event, hope to meet you again soon! 🙂

Oh my gosh, the display of bags and shoes is lovely! You’re so right about their use of patterns is spot on, and in the top picture there looks to be a lovely lace number in a fantastic yellow! Hope you enjoyed your manicure too, that sounds lovely! What were your nails like?
