St. Pancras International

It has really been a while. With exams coming up I’ve been so busy buried in my books, that any breaks I do have are spent power napping rather than blogging. But today I completed the final page of the 5 million pages of Econ readings we had been set, and thought I would reward myself by chilling for a bit and writing up a blog…

So I’m doing this thing where I try and push myself out of my comfort zone a bit more, and this post relates to that. A few weeks ago I decided to ask an old friend, who is into photography, if she can take a few photos for me. I’ve known she’s into photography for over a year now, but the one time it crossed my mind to ask her to do a shoot for me, my brain said, “nah… awkward. Stick to your tripod.”

We took the photos near by St. Pancras International station, with a bunch of working adults walking and out of their lunch break (and our “shoot”) as we did it. The first thing I said to my friend was – “I’m not a model”, and I’m really not. However, taking these photos really wasn’t as awkward as I had first imagined it would be. The photo quality is amazing and I really couldn’t be happier with how the photos turned out, I definitely want to try and get more and more better quality outfit photos taken for this blog post exams. Do check out my friend’s photography website – here, she’s great at what she does, and also shoots for many bloggers if that’s what you’re after. 😉

On to the outfit. I kept it simple and black, bringing it to life only with this pink coat. I had this coat sent to me by New Look at the beginning of the year, and it has quickly become one of the most staple pieces in my wardrobe.

Anddd with that, I’m off to have a shower and get started on some Finance, which means I’ll probably end up in tears before the end of the day.

Awesome shots. I’m encouraging my friends to start a mini photoshoot just around our circle just for the fun of it. I look forward a big “yes” from them.

Seems like she used a filter. Mind me asking what did she use? It’s really warm in the eyes.
