Creating Scribbles

In this tutorial I will take you on a step by step guide to scribbling pictures. I self-tought myself how to scribbles pictures a long, long time ago; when I was still making doll websites. A lot of the tutorials I tried to work were always over complicated for a beginner, the method I will teach you now is very simple.
First find the image you want to make into a Scribble. I usually use Google Images to find my images, the image I'm using now of Tweety Bird was found from Blogsvoices.Com. That image can be seen on the right.
Paste it as a new image and then duplicate your base image, after duplicating your base image delete your base image - this allows us to change the transparency for later. Next, create a new raster layer and take the brush tool at a size of 1 and a colour of your choice (preferably black). Change the transparency of your new base layer to around 40%.
Now, use this brush tool to trace around your image! Make sure while you do this your TOP layer is highlighted, or else it won't work. Once you've traced around it once - trace around it again! An example can be seen on the left. Don't worry about making it neat, it's a scribble - it doesn't have to be neat.
Once you're done, select the fill tool at an opacity of 100% and simply fill in your image [make sure you've highlighted you TOP layer before you do this]. You colours don't have to completely match the first image, you can really just do what you like. If your fill tool ever seems to fill in a larger section than you wanted, it's because not all of your lines are properly connected [hopefully we all know this from Microsoft Paint days as kids].
Once you're done - delete your bottom layer, merge your layers visible... and voila :]
