I can’t sing… neither can you

When I was really young, I wanted to be a nurse (just because the nurse outfits in the Argos catalog looked pretty cool). Then I decided (like a lot of little girls do) that I wanted to be a popstarrrrrr! But then I recorded myself singing… at first was like; “wtf? This recorder is messed up. I don’t sound like this I sound like Beyonce!”

Then I tried another recorder and realized – you know what? I can’t sing.

A post at Terentina inspired this blog. The guys on the X Factor (Or American Idol or Britains Got Talen [you get the deelio]) that suckkk… how can they not realize that they suck? If I was able to realize I can’t sing at like 7 years old, why do these grown people think that they’re good?

It makes me wonder sometimes; are there things that I think I’m good at that I really just suck at? Am I deluding myself?

ANYHOO! Everything around here is getting quite ‘rusty’, the layout is retired, the blog is dusty even the content needs to be redone. I told myself I’d get it all done this Summer… but that clearly didn’t happen. On Sunday I’m hoping to get a new layout up around 8PM GMT, hopefully… As time goes on I will re-do a lot of the content, such as the articles and the fugly web icons and other content which I’ve probably forgotten about.
