Results! And Skydiving

The competition wassssss… to take one of the illustration tutorials I made during illustration tutorial week; and follow it. Customize it, whatever – it was up to you. There were only a handful of entries, buttt, I wasn’t expecting as many as I got for like… my giveaway; as I understand not everyone is really ‘in’ to illustration.

Now! I shall feature all of the entries; you can skip to the end to see the winning entry. LET’S GO!

This was the first entrant and was from Emmie – although it was not made using any of the tutorials; it relates to my current layout. What I love about this entry is how the body was made; I always find it incredibly hard to illustrate bodies, and this entry was sent it so quickly I was impressed.

This next entrant was from Mandi – This was was very well made and looks a lot like the one in the original tutorial; Mandi also used the ‘sketchy effect’ well to do the shadows in the mane

This next entrant was from Owen – this was was clearly very well made, the lines are nice and smooth, the colours bold and the shirt even has a nice little design on it.

This next entrant was from Isi – it’s clearly very well made, I love the contrast of the illustration below and the real image of clouds above; that is some creative thinking. I didn’t want this edit to go to waste so I featured it on the tutorial itself. The only thing about this entry was that the illustration was the one that I made
